Birds at Bluefield
Well, I love crow. Don’t know why but I love them. My wife hates any sort of birds. Even it is a peacock. However, she loves to take pictures. Here are some birds as she clicked the camera. Apart from the crow..you know.

When I am Happy
I went to eat some BEEF. Medium cooked. I am now addicted to Beef steak. Well, I do miss Nizam’s Beef curry a lot. Used to go to Nizam for cheap Beef curry a lot.
Pocahontas-Virginia
Pocahontas, a small town in Tazewell county is one of our favorite places to go. The town is only 20 minutes away and we have bus services during the week too to Pocahontas. We love to take our frinds to the Pocahontas Exhibition coal mine.

Pikeville is a city in Pike County, Kentucky, United States. The population was 6,295 at the 2000 census. It is the county seat of Pike County. Pike County has a population of approximately 70,000.

Hungry Mother State Park in southwestern Virginia is noted for its woodlands and lake. Easily accessible from Interstate 81, this park has folklore and history, swimming, camping, cabin rentals, boat rentals, hiking and the park system’s first conference center, Hemlock Haven.

Palki 6 Published
The Palki 6th Edition, 14th February, 2009 issue has been published. Please read Palki and refer everybody about it. I have only one short story and two poems to contribute to Palki in this issue. So Far we have been publishing Palki only twice every year. In 2009 we will be publishing three and if everything goes well, 2010 will give all 4 publications a year. We have increased our awards from last Palki, so contribute and win some prizes.

Ranger WV trip – cold
Last week, February 3th-6th I went for a field trip in Ranger, WV. I stayed in a motel at Chapmanville, WV about 40 minutes drive from the site. It was cold. Full of snow. Ranger got almost 6 inches of snow on wednesday. I had to buy special insulated boots! Some pictures:
The Color of The Rocks
Nothing can be more beautiful than Earth. I tool the core photograph during my field trip to a drill site. Just look at the different types of rocks including the “red shale”. Notice the beautifully developed siderite nodules, shale, siltstone mudstone and some dark shale.
