Dress Like a Geologist Please

When it is cold – I mean real coad with wind 50 mph, you need some layers. I am sure guys out there in the wild hills of West Virginia knows all about it. This picture is however at a site near St. Clairsville, Ohio. I have been conducting Packer Tests for almost 3 weeks now. Really nice and thick Pittsburg seam – you don’t get to see such seams very much in the states much any more as most of the thicker seams are gone. We are all left with difficult mining conditions along with seam thickness barely meeting the SEC standards.
